Watercolor paintings are a great starting place for commissioned artwork. Bright, layered, and illustrative, they are a special way to commemorate special occasions or places. My watercolor commission offerings range from 5×7” to 11 × 14”, and can typically be ready within 8-10 business days. I’m always open to larger pieces and just need some advance notice!
WATERCOLOR PAINTINGS
It was not uncommon to hear my mother say in exasperation “I’m not a short order cook!” when my siblings and I were growing up. Lucky for you, I actually am a short order cook when it comes to new projects, and ironically, my mom’s often the one who challenges me to expand my skills by signing me up for brand new projects - like the time she asked me to paint a full-scale mural for the Sanctuary on 8th St, design cups for a cocktail party, or convert my prints into wallpaper for a bathroom.

I love working in oil pastel or colored pencil to bring a lush plant scene to life. If you have a color palette or room in mind, I can create original custom work to suit the scene.

Maybe you’re looking to finish off a room and tie a range of bright colors into one painting, or gift a landscape to a loved one. You might need a portrait (of a person or a four-legged friend) or to finally get that cool photo you found in your grandmother’s attic made into a painting. Maybe you just need some more joy in your life! Birthday presents, graduation gifts, wedding bling, needed-a-refresh, I’m here to talk. Paintings on canvas, board, or wood start at 8×10” and can be up to 4×6 feet.
